Please read and take notes on Chapter 1 of A Survey of Buddhism by Sangharakshita. You will need to bring the text with you. The original publication is no longer in print and is now part of Volume 1 of Sangharakshita's Complete Works. However, Chapter One has been made available and is available at Windhorse Publications. Copies may also be available at Aryaloka.
